About Me

Sara Roth grew up in La Jolla, California, surrounded by opera, art, and books. Lots and lots of books. When she was young, her grandmother started calling her “Sarita,” and the name stuck. Sara has always been drawn to songs that tell a story, and stories that inspire her to create stories of her own. As a child, all she wanted was to see her name on a book, sitting on a library shelf.

Sara attended Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, where she became further immersed in the world of creative writing. Upon graduation, she took a break from writing to start a family, but now that her son, Alex, and daughter, Kaitlyn, are on their own, she is diving back into this world. In 2024, Sara published her first novel, Moonscape.

Sara’s novels catapult the reader into a dark and twisty world of intrigue and danger. She is currently working on her next novel, Road Rage, and eventually would like to branch out into middle grade fantasy.

Sara currently resides in Pequea, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Tim, her dogs, Zuri and Tik-Tok, and her cats, Hannah and Aria.
